Through Mirley's Eyes

Jan. 31, 2019

"Through Mirley's Eyes" are pictures taken by one of our students. I always love to see how kids visualize the experience. You can see how amazing and focused our kids are!!

Our First Meeting

Jan. 31, 2019

The Journey has begun. The kids are hard at work making a page that is all about themselves. I was so amazed by them!! They are so hardworking and eager to work!!

We decided we need to buy tamales and then, after school I thought...Chin food. So now, kids will have tamales, for some the first time.

Then, my friends offered after work to buy Chin food to add to the kid's experience.

This is going to be a wonderful adventure.

Interest Is Building...

7th Grade Lunch
Students got to learn about this year's 24-Hour World Tour in 7th and 8th grade lunches today.  Before the end of school, a dozen students had already submitted applications!

It looks like our toughest job is going to be trying to decide which students get to participate.  It takes a special mix of maturity, curiosity, and energy to be a part of this experience.  I can't wait to see who ends up joining us!
