This Spring DeLay Middle School will host a 24 Hour World Tour and our team of students will attempt to contact people on each of the 7 continents. We are interested in providing opportunities for our students to interact with people around the world using a variety of platforms (Skype, Zoom, Facetime, etc.) As our kids travel the world digitally and virtually, we will share our experiences through our blog and Twitter #DeLayWorldJourney. We hope you can join us!

This is Miriam and Anayeli, former DeLay MS students, and now Farmer alumni. We have been impressed with how much we learned about Crystal Cove, a state park in California. One thing that we took away from the skype with Ranger Francesca is that the abalone snail is currently an endangered species. It's a sought after marine species that is eaten and used for decorative object. We are happy to learn that many scientists and environmentalists are making great efforts to preserve our wildlife for future generations!
